By placing an order through the Claire Montréal website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms outlined in this Refund & Return Policy.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you:
• Have reviewed and agreed to our return conditions and processing timelines
• Understand and accept the return procedure described below
• Agree that, in the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, this policy together with related order documentation may be used as supporting evidence
Returns
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return for eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order, provided the conditions below are met.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return:
• Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
• Products must be returned in their original condition and original packaging
• Items may only show standard inspection handling
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
Once your return has been received, our team will inspect and process it within approximately 7 business days. Claire Montréal reserves the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear, misuse, damage, or alterations not caused by us.
How to Request a Return
To request a return, please follow these steps:
• Contact us at info@claire-montreal.com within 30 days of delivery
• Include the following details in your email:
Order number
Reason for the return
Photos of the item if damaged or defective
Your full name and shipping address
• Wait for return approval and shipping instructions before sending your package
Please do not return items without prior authorization, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method and keeping proof of shipment until the return process has been completed.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or contains a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 2 days of delivery at info@claire-montreal.com.
Please include:
• Your order number
• A brief explanation of the issue
• Clear photos or a short video showing the problem
After reviewing the issue:
• We may offer a replacement depending on product availability and the nature of the defect
• In certain situations, returning the item may not be necessary
Replacement orders are generally processed within 7–14 business days.
Lost, Refused, or Undeliverable Orders
If your package appears lost during transit:
• Contact us with your order number and tracking information
• We will assist with an investigation through the shipping carrier and arrange a replacement or refund if the loss is confirmed
If a package is refused, left unclaimed, or returned due to an incorrect shipping address entered at checkout, a $35 CAD administrative and shipping fee may be deducted from the refund amount.
Cancellations & Withdrawal Rights
Under applicable Canadian consumer guidelines, customers may request to withdraw from their purchase within 30 days of receiving their order.
Please note:
• Orders cannot be canceled once they have been shipped
• If your order is already in transit, you may request a return after delivery
• To request an order cancellation before shipment, contact info@claire-montreal.com as soon as possible
• Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If there is an issue with your order, we kindly encourage you to contact our support team first so we can work toward a fair and timely solution.
In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, Claire Montréal may provide relevant documentation to the payment provider, including:
• Order confirmations
• Tracking and shipping records
• Communication history and submitted photos
Opening a chargeback without contacting us beforehand may delay the resolution process and could affect future orders.
Important Information
• Approved returns must be sent to our designated fulfillment facility
• Return shipping costs are not covered by Claire Montréal
• We are not responsible for customs delays, import procedures, or clearance issues
• Hygiene-sensitive items returned in used or unsanitary condition cannot be accepted
• Returns are not free of charge and shipping/handling fees may apply
